Deciding to go to therapy can be both scary and hopeful. My approach is non-judgmental, and curious. No story is alike, and I welcome all folks into therapy with warmth and a commitment to exploring your personal journey. I am trained in EMDR and take a trauma informed approach to help you understand and explore how your life experiences have impacted you today.

As a proud Mohawk therapist, I integrate my Indigenous teachings and heritage learnings into my approach, in addition to using other therapeutic strategies such as CBT (cognitive behavioural therapy), EFT (emotion focused therapy) and IFS (internal family systems).

My hope is to create a safe, collaborative, and comfortable space for you to grow and heal. In our work together we will focus on establishing safety, building a strong relationship and create meaningful space for you to express yourself and meet your therapy goals.

I appreciate that deciding to go to therapy can be scary and hopeful at the same time, and I welcome all parts of the experience through a non-judgmental and curious approach. I take a trauma informed approach to help understand how your life experiences have impacted you in any way today. I am trained in EMDR, and can discuss in more detail the benefits of this kind of
trauma treatment in a free consultation call. I also integrate other modalities such as IFS, Indigenous teachings, CBT and EFT depending on each client.

One of my biggest hopes for anyone going to therapy is that they find a therapist that they feel completely comfortable with. Someone who you feel safe to express anything with and who is in tune with what you are struggling with. I would love to help facilitate that environment with you, so that you can heal and grow.

Thank you!

We appreciate your interest in working with us. You should expect a message from our Intake Coordinator shortly. We aim to respond to all inquiries in 1-3 business days.

I received my Master of Social Work (MSW) from Western University. I have dedicated my learning and practice to providing trauma informed and evidence based approaches to therapy, and have experience working with trauma, anxiety and depression.

I use a collaborative therapeutic approach which draws from modalities such as EMDR (EMDR Trained), IFS, CBT, EFT and Indigenous teachings. A common theme amongst these different approaches has been self-compassion. Self-compassion, along with other values that also guide my work such as transparency, humility, and courage, form the foundation of how I approach therapy.

I have lived in England, New Zealand and am now back in Canada. I enjoy working with diverse individuals from all walks of life, although I am particularly passionate about advocating for Indigenous folx. I am proud of my Mohawk heritage and teachings.
