Our Process

schedule a consult

The work we do together may shift and change depending on your needs and focus for treatment. We have an open door policy: we believe therapy should be collaborative, and can adjust to your circumstances as needed. We encourage you to ask questions, keep notes, practice what you have learned in therapy, and keep your engagement with the therapeutic process at a pace that makes sense to you.

Ongoing therapy

4

During the "get to know you" process between you and your therapist, you can expect to discuss plans for treatment, comfort with a therapeutic approach and  the best way to support you and your needs.

Feedback

3

When you begin therapy, we will assess your situation, goals needs, personality, strengths, and personal history. By gathering all this information, we can best evaluate what you are struggling with, and how it might affect your well-being. This phase of gathering information usually takes one or more sessions and may include the use of self report measures or psychological tests (as appropriate).

Assessment

2

Our intake coordinator will help connect you to one of our therapists who will best fit your needs. Your initial consultation is a 15-20 minute conversation where you can discuss your therapy goals and needs, discuss availability for sessions, and get to know each other better.

We offer both Psychotherapy and Psychological services (under supervision). Learn more about the difference here.
