This session offers women of colour a supportive space to share and process their experiences related to their bodies, focusing on emotions, personal narratives, and evolving beliefs. Participants will also explore historical coping mechanisms and their impact on self-identity and relationships.
In this session, we will explore the relationship between trust and body image, examining how harmful media myths and stereotypes affect our self-trust and ability to care for our bodies. We’ll engage in discussions focused on rebuilding lost trust, sharing tools for self-reconnection, and reflecting on our worth and value.
Rest & Restore Session w/ The Villij
In this practical healing session, we will create affirmation jars that represent both internal and external positive messaging. The jars will feature qualities of our character and grounding reminders inside, while the outside will display images reflecting our true selves, fostering a visualization of our desired identities and breaking the cycle of harm imposed on women of colour.
