Thank you for taking the time to get to know me on the Bloom site. As a woman of multi-racial descent including African American, Scottish and Muscogee Creek ancestry, I provide a therapeutic approach that is culturally sensitive and trauma-informed. I believe there is strength in diversity and it is through our lived experiences that we can gain tools to live a balanced life. I believe my role as a therapist is to help individuals build a harmonized life through the development of self-awareness and empowerment to connect you to your authentic self.

I have over 9 years experience providing counselling services to individuals in a variety of different healthcare settings. My approach is culturally sensitive, collaborative and incorporates a pinch of good humor. I use various therapeutic approaches including CBT, DBT and mindfulness models depending on your specific needs and goals. I strive to create a safe space for you to increase coping strategies, build self-compassion and strengthen relationships.

My work is supervised by Dr. Hugo Stevenson, PhD CPsych. Learn more about Dr. Stevenson here.

Thank you!

Thank you! We appreciate your interest in working with us. You should expect a message from our Intake Coordinator shortly. We aim to respond to all inquiries in 1-3 business days.

I am Registered Psychotherapist (RP) who is dedicated to walking alongside individuals on their path to health and healing. I specialize in providing individual therapy for people seeking support with substance abuse, eating disorders, depression, anxiety and interpersonal issues.

I received my Masters (M.Ed) in Counseling at Boston University and have extensive experience working in inpatient, outpatient and community health settings. I pride myself on creating a safe, empathetic and non-judgmental environment where clients can discover strengths, build resiliency and find balance.

My approach is grounded in the belief that health is reflected in our bodies, minds, spirits and the ways we relate to the world around us. My main focus is on building a warm and collaborative relationship through the use of a variety of evidence-based treatment methods depending on what works best for you.

When I am not working, I enjoy going for long runs around the city, walking my two rescue dogs, pursuing musical and artistic hobbies and spending quality time with family and friends.
