☕️ First time therapy tip:
Ask questions and make sure you found the right fit! Therapy is a living breathing relationship process where two mysteries that are people meet. You can't know if things will ultimately work with a therapist from day one, but you can ensure you feel comfortable starting the process together. It's ok to ask your therapist about their approach, their interests, their reasons for becoming a therapist etc. Check in with yourself and see how you feel about the match before moving forward.
