Working from an empathetic, trauma-informed, strength-based perspective, I will guide and support you as you make the changes you desire, address unhelpful ways of functioning, and build your strengths and resilience to promote your healing and growth.

With therapy, you can learn to regulate your emotions, address trigger responses, and develop resilience and coping skills. I utilize talk therapy and somatic (body) interventions for a holistic approach to designing and applying your tailored therapeutic healing plan. 

The path to healing can seem scary, and change is not always easy, but you do not have to do this work alone. I will guide and support you every step of the way.

I help adults who experienced childhood/ adult trauma, abuse (including verbal, physical, emotional, and sexual), and neglect. These experiences often show up as social anxiety, depression, compulsive behavior, fear, negative thinking, or low self-worth. 

I provide space for you to be heard and understood. You will have a safe environment to gently explore the impact of traumatic events.

☕️ First time therapy tip:
Keep believing that change is possible. It takes courage to take a step towards healing, so be gentle with yourself as you learn new ways of being and experiencing the world.

Therapy equips clients with skills for life. Therefore, it is important to apply new skills outside of the session and get support from your therapist about any challenges around implementation.

Born and grew up in Trinidad & Tobago 🇹🇹, lived in the UK and immigrated to Canada 🇨🇦 in 2010.
