I work with individuals who have experienced trauma, including sexual assault, childhood trauma, and racial trauma, as well as those dealing with anxiety, life transitions, and emotion regulation. It can be challenging to find new support systems and skills to heal. Together we will unlearn old ways of coping while discovering new strategies for your wellness.

Using EMDR, I help folks process their trauma histories without having to directly relive those painful memories. Trauma, anxiety, and eating disorders can all lead to challenging bodily disconnection and dissociation. By using body based therapies we can explore how trauma and other emotional experiences may be stuck in your body, helping you find physical release and support in those areas. Trauma Sensitive Yoga and other mindful somatic practices are all tools we can use to support your nervous system and find grounding within.

Culture and diverse identities shape how we navigate the world and can hinder our wellness, like our need for slowness, rest, and boundaries. Guided by my experiences, I am aware of how racism, sexism, homophobia, and other forms of oppression can impact mental health and our sense of safety.

My aim is to always offer a collaborative, non-judgmental and safe space for curious exploration. I look forward to working with you as we connect and unpack what comes up for you along the way.

“Doing your best looks different everyday, and that’s okay”
