Born and raised in multicultural Toronto as a daughter of Punjabi Sikh immigrants and currently raising a multi-ethnic family, my life crosses multiple intersections of identity. I bring this awareness into my practice and employ culturally-sensitive and trauma-informed approaches to create an atmosphere of safety and collaboration.

As a therapist, I view my role as that of a teammate: we both bring our various experiences and expertise into the space and we work together towards a common goal. Sometimes I will teach, sometimes I will learn, sometimes I will challenge you, and I will always be your cheerleader.

I offer Psychological services supervised by Dr. Hugo Stevenson, PhD Psych. Learn more about Dr. Stevenson here.

Fun Fact/ About Me

🌺 Favourite plant/flower:  The peony. I just find them so fascinating because the bloom itself is so heavy, but the stem is not so strong and even still the stem holds that bloom up and helps it to prosper.

☕️ First time therapy tip: It’s okay to have questions and it’s okay to be uncertain. I think it's really important for you to speak to different people. It's really important to listen to your gut. So when you feel connected or comfortable or safe with someone, really listen to that. Therapy isn't necessarily about the modality that someone uses, it really is about the relationship that you have with a therapist and the relationship the therapist has with you. So really focus on someone that you feel like you could develop a relationship with that’s therapeutic and safe.
