Creating a safe, judgment-free space is fundamental in my practice. I'm a firm believer that a life aligned with your values brings purpose and meaning. My primary expertise is in helping individuals to become more connected to their body and body image, heal from eating disorders, and are struggling with issues like anxiety, low mood, perfectionism, procrastination and ADHD.

I practice an LGBTQIA+ affirming and anti-oppressive practice, welcoming all folks into the therapy room. In our work together,  you'll find a blend of warmth and empathy, contributing to a comfortable and inviting atmosphere. My skills and interest lie in therapy that is both informed by the mind and the body, integrating elements of movement and mindfulness into the therapy room. My goal is to support you in accessing the wisdom of your body and finding deeper healing and transformation through a mind-body lens.

Other areas of interest are in helping folks of all kinds connect with their emotions, develop greater self-awareness and self-compassion, access self-love and self-worth, deepen their relationship to faith and spirituality, and cultivate meaningful and fulfilling relationships with themselves and others.

When I’m not in sessions, you can find me near the water engaging with the arts, and nature and spending time with friends and family.

"There is hope, even when your brain tells you there isn't."

I received a Master's in Counselling, Psychotherapy and Spirituality from Saint Paul University and am currently in the process of completing a Dance Movement Therapy training program with Les Grands Ballets Canadiens’ National Centre for Dance Therapy.

I have a particular interest in helping individuals connect with their emotions, develop greater self-awareness and self-compassion, access self-love, explore self-worth, and manage low self-esteem and overall self-discovery while cultivating meaningful and fulfilling relationships with themselves and others.

I bring a diverse range of therapeutic approaches to my work. I identify with the importance of creativity, expressive arts, and body-based interventions in combination with talk therapy. These modalities can help clients access deeper emotions and insights. My goal is to support clients in accessing the wisdom of their bodies and finding deeper healing and transformation.

I identify with the value of welcoming a client's spirituality into the therapy room. I recognize its power as a source of support and comfort for some individuals or as a source of pain and hurt that's asking to be tended to for others. By integrating spirituality into therapy with sensitivity and respect, I aim to help clients find greater healing and peace. When I’m not in the therapy room, you can find me near the water engaging with the arts, and nature and spending time with friends and family.

☕️ First time therapy tip:
After a session, it can be a good practice to take time to reflect on how you feel, how you think therapy went, and what you think changed for you in that session. Journaling is a good way to stay present with therapy after your session is over and to think about how to apply any breakthroughs you may have had. Also, remember your therapist is there to help you. So feel free to ask your therapist questions, share your new insights or even let them know if you found something that doesn’t sit right with you.
