As a Grenadian woman whose education and professional journey have taken me to Canada and the UK, I am also attentive to the ways culture, migration, identity, and belonging can shape how we understand ourselves. I bring a background in sport and exercise psychology to my work with athletes, former athletes, and people navigating high-performance environments. I work with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, perfectionism, burnout, disordered eating, overexercise, identity shifts, and the pressure to succeed. My interest is not only in performance, but in the person behind it: how you understand your worth, where you feel you belong, and who you are when expectations become difficult to carry.

I see therapy as a collaborative space where we can explore your experiences, make sense of what has shaped you, and notice patterns that may no longer be serving you. Many of the ways we cope or relate to ourselves and others developed for a reason, even when they now leave us feeling stuck. Together, we can approach these patterns with curiosity and compassion rather than judgement.

Starting therapy can feel daunting. I aim to create a warm and supportive relationship where all parts of you are welcome, including the parts that feel uncertain, tired, driven, or difficult to name. I hope our work helps you feel more connected to yourself and better equipped to navigate whatever has brought you here.

My work is supervised by Meghan Watson, M.A., RP.

As a Black woman of Caribbean heritage and a psychotherapist-in-training, I approach therapy through a culturally responsive, trauma-informed, and decolonial lens. My work is grounded in the belief that healing begins in a relationship with ourselves, our histories, and our communities.

Drawing from my background in social justice education and counselling psychology, I work collaboratively with clients to explore how systemic and relational factors shape their emotional experiences. My approach centers on curiosity, compassion, and empowerment, helping you reconnect with your authentic self as you navigate life transitions, anxiety, depression, perfectionism, and questions of identity and belonging.

Having worked for over two decades in public service and crisis intervention, I bring both lived and professional experience to the therapy room. I understand how societal pressures, intergenerational patterns, and burnout can erode our sense of self. In our sessions, my goal is to co-create a brave space where you can feel seen, supported, and grounded and where we can honour both your pain and your resilience.

Fun Fact/ About Me

☕️ First time therapy tip:
Not every therapist will be the right fit, and that's completely normal. If you don't feel a connection with the first therapist you meet, don't let that discourage you from continuing your search. A meaningful therapy experience begins with feeling seen, heard, and supported.

🪴 Favourite Plant or Flower: Orchids – beautiful, elegant, and honestly a bit of a gamble in my care. I keep
trying, they keep teaching me patience. Growth comes in many forms!

ℹ️ Fun Fact: I used to be a competitive swimmer and track athlete. These days, my energy is split between crushing the competition at board games and strolling through the aisles of HomeSense for hours.
Proudly Grenadian 🇬🇩 , with an educational and professional journey that has taken me to Canada and the UK.
