expertise:

Thank you for your interest in Bloom! I started this clinic to create intentional community and authentic spaces for people to thrive. I’m so glad you’re here.

I am a Registered Psychotherapist who focuses on supporting people experiencing struggles with their mood, anxiety, eating disorders and body image issues. I provide warm, non-judgmental therapy to individuals and couples.

I received my Masters (M.A.) in Mental Health Counselling and Behavioural Medicine at Boston University School of Medicine. Over the last 6 years, I have worked as a psychotherapist in both Canada and the U.S., and have experience working with complex mood and anxiety disorders, LGBTI2SQ and gender affirming health care, relational psychotherapy approaches, and in treating trauma and PTSD.

I am a relational cultural therapist, driven by connection and community. My work is rooted in values of authenticity and radical transparency, and is evidence based, anti-oppressive and trauma informed. I am particularly passionate about helping folx navigate their emotional worlds, explore their values, understand important relationships and connections in their life, and create sustainable changes around self care, self love, and mindful self compassion.

When I’m not in session, you can find me reading, listening to podcasts, tending to my urban garden and spending time with friends and family.

My work is supervised by Dr. Hugo Stevenson, PhD CPsych. Learn more about Dr. Stevenson here.

Thank you!

We appreciate your interest in working with us. You should expect a message from our Intake Coordinator shortly. We aim to respond to all inquiries in 1-3 business days.

Don't let manufactured urgency be a part of your healing journey.
There's no need to rush. You are right where you need to be.

I want to help you discover how to listen to yourself again. So many of us get bogged down in expectations of the life we “should” have. Together, we’ll get rid of those “shoulds” and make room for a relationship with yourself and others that feels good to you. My goal in therapy is to build your awareness of your emotional world, support you in navigating boundaries and relationships and connect to your values and purpose.

I work with individuals who struggle with stress, anxiety, challenges with moodiness and tough emotions, concerns affecting the BIPOC community, as well support clients with eating disorders and body image issues. I work from an anti-oppressive and trauma informed lens, and prioritize your resilience in each session.

The work we do together is based on your needs. I’m committed to making your experience in therapy one where you feel validated, heard and accountable to the changes you want to make in your life.
