I want to support you make sense of your emotional world, gain clarity of how you are resourced and establish ways to set up appropriate boundaries to thrive forward in your relationship with yourself and others. 

You are the expert in your life; my role is to support you in your journey of learning by meeting you where you are at with compassion, curiosity and gently challenging you when appropriate. My hope is to support you navigate the challenges and celebrate the victories of learning along the way. 

During our sessions, I work collaboratively with you to cultivate a warm, non-judgmental and emotional safe space that aids reflection. Throughout the therapeutic relationship, I utilize anti-oppressive, trauma-informed, client-centered and culturally sensitive approach. I work with both couples and individuals at Bloom. I specialize in supporting clients in relation to: interpersonal relationships, anxiety, developing emotional intelligence, and life transitions.

My hope is for you to feel seen, heard and encouraged in our sessions. I strongly believe that it takes courage to seek support, and I have great respect for you for making the decision to prioritizing your wellbeing. I have earned my Masters of Divinity and Clinical Counselling from Tyndale Seminary. Over the past 7 years I have worked in the mental health field with non-for-profit and for-profit industries supporting diverse communities. I work collaboratively with clients utilizing a diverse model of evidence based-therapy tailored to the individuals' needs. 

Using a strengths-based, client-centered, relational-focused lens, I strive to provide a warm and emotionally safe space to encourage the process reflection of experiences, thoughts, emotions, and behavioral patterns. I aim to help you to harvest the learning and enhance your understanding of how you are equipped to move forward and create meaningful connections. 

When I am not working with clients I enjoy spending time in nature, reading, staying active through dance and boxing, and enjoy spending time with family and friends.
